Twitter – a tool for ego trippers ??

Although I’d signed up for Twitter months ago, I’ve started tweeting only for the past two days ! Felt kind of funny to let people know what I’ve been upto but realised you don’t have to always update your laundry list on twitter ! You can include info about events you plan to attend, request for ideas for your next speech/article, give instant feedback and share quips and quotes ! The best part is brevity – just 140 characters !

Most important, when I found estimable names like Dilip Abayasekara (http://twitter.com/Liononstage) and Balaji Pasumarthy (http://twitter.com/balajispark) on Twitter, I didn’t need any excuse !!
